On this road trip I visited my friend Tex in Ellijay, GA. We explored his area as well as checked out a car show in nearby Jasper, GA. North Georgia is a close drive from Atlanta and about 8 hours from my house. You have many options for outdoor activities. White water rafting, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, and plenty of good southern food.
